Te Kupenga 2013
Te Kupenga 2013 Notes
Data can be downloaded from Stats NZ
For each metric the source data contains a value alongside an upper and lower confidence interval value. In the interests of simplicity and targeting a broad audience we have opted to use only the main value and omit the upper and lower confidence values. The confidence intervals represent the range in which we are 95 percent confident the true population mean falls.
Additionally the source data has supressions of information where values are so small that the confidence interval is too low or where individuals could be identified. We have opted to represent these cases simply as a value of 0.
